Photos & Video: Justice For The 33 Demo Goes To London Underground HQ

The 'Justice For The 33' campaign went to London Underground head office - 55 Broadway - today. RMT's London Transport Region have long been campaigning for tube bosses to employ the thirty-three agency workers who lost their jobs on the tube. They were employed by Trainpeople agency for five years working as station assistants, but when Trainpeople's contract was ended early, they were sacked.

The demonstration started at TfL's Windsor House before marching to London Undergrounds Head Office 55 Broadway. The demonstartors are passionate for the plight of these workers, with the unions Assistant General Secretary Steve Hedley and London Transport Regional Organiser John Leach taking part; alongside reps, activists and the many of the sacked Trainpeople workers themselves. An attempt to take the message to tube bosses resulted in police clearing protesters from 55 Broadway and the building being temporarily closed.
