TfL 2013/15 pay and conditions update

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2013/15 – TFL (TFL/0001)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/243/15, 13th October 2015), I can report that TfL has imposed a pay award without agreement from the trade unions. Meetings between the Company and the Union’s negotiating team are now being scheduled and I shall report back any further developments as they arise.

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2013-2015 – TRANSPORT FOR LONDON (TFL/0001)

As you will be aware, TfL members have been in dispute with the Company and taking on going industrial action short of strike action (see Circular No. IR/236/15, 1st October 2015 “Pay for Performance, Defend your Pensionable Pay – Transport for London”).

However in the meantime, the Company advised us of the following arrangements in respect of the 2013/14 pay review:-

·         There will not be a salary increase for 2013/14.

All TfL members are commended for refusing to accept the Company’s “Pay for Performance” proposals. The on-going industrial action short of a strike as below is solidly supported and I urge all TfL members to continue taking part in the following industrial action:-

London Transport Regional Council

Th next meeting of the London Transport Regional Council will be on Thursday 24 September 1630-1830

Please try and attend and make sure your own branch is represented at this important organising meeting.

There will be reports from the Counil of Executive member John Reid and from the Regional Organiser John Leach.

TfL Pay Update

TfL Company Council update – 1 September 2015 We are fighting for fair and equal pay at TfL - All unions present at today’s talks rejected management’s latest offer of a £1.5 million pot equating to 0.75% of the pay bill - We continue to seek clarity on the proposed distribution of the base pay pot - Negotiations continue around pay for band 1 employees on spine point 14 - We continue to press for clarity on the size of the pot for non-consolidated ‘performance awards’
