BOXING DAY PAYMENTS, SERVICE CONTROL STAFF - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/7/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/371/24, 13th December 2024), talks have taken place with the Company and the Lead Officer has received written confirmation and commitments from the Company that further talks will take place with a view to agreeing a resolution to this matter.

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, HAMMERSMITH SERVICE CONTROL CENTRE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

I write further to my previous Circular (IR/108/21, 17th March 2021) where I informed you of numerous issues amounting to a Breakdown in Industrial Relations centred around Hammersmith Service Control Centre. An ad hoc meeting of the Service Control Functional Council has taken place in which London Underground presented their proposals to address the issues that have been raised as part of the dispute which were deemed unacceptable in their current form.

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, HAMMERSMITH SERVICE CONTROL CENTRE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/391/20, 1st October 2020), your Lead Officer has submitted a report along with a comprehensive document from your senior Service Control Reps regarding the above matter. Our Service Control members at Hammersmith Service Control Centre worked extremely hard during the Covid-19 pandemic to keep the tube service running and have done so in unacceptable circumstances.

TO ALL SERVICE CONTROLLERS AT OSBORNE HOUSE

Dear Colleagues,

VICTIMISATION, IAN NORRIS, SERVICE CONTROLLER, OSBORNE HOUSE - LONDON UNDERGROUND

I have received a resolution from our Finsbury Park Branch raising grave concerns over the treatment meted out by management to your RMT Representative, Brother Norris. The concerted efforts of management against Ian led to disciplinary proceedings being taken against him.

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, SERVICE CONTROL, OSBORNE HOUSE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular No: IR/391/20, 1st October 2020, our Lead Officer has provided an update report on the matter. This follows the previous unanimous ballot result and planned industrial action which was suspended following progress made through ACAS in resolving the issues in dispute.

Your NEC has considered the report and noted that the view of our Reps is that there is no need to re-ballot at this time on the matter.

IMPOSITION OF ROSTER, SCL2s, HAMMERSMITH SERVICE CONTROL CENTRE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/8/2)

The Lead Officer recently submitted a report as, despite the best efforts of our RMT Reps to reach a negotiated settlement, management have proceeded to impose a new roster, which is due to be implemented in March 2021, affecting members on the Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City Lines at Hammersmith Service Control Centre.

Further to my previous Circular (IR/339/20, 27th August 2020), this ballot has since concluded and our Service Control members at Osborne House have once again delivered a magnificent - and unanimous - vote to take strike action and action short of a strike. They have made their views crystal clear to management and for that they are to be congratulated on achieving another powerful vote in relation to their ongoing dispute.

PAY BANDS, 4LM, HSCC GRADING & MORE!
For many years, Service Control has been ticking on by quietly in the background but more and more we are finding Service Control are coming under attack. Whether it be attempts to undermine their terms and conditions with retired staff, cutting of numbers or reneging on ACAS agreements. The Service Control family has come together and decided enough is enough and now is the time to make a stand. With this in mind your reps have put together all the issues that have been left unresolved and prevalent for years and will be demanding change.
