REORGANISATION AND JOB CUTS - SODEXO (TFL CONTRACT) (LUL/15/4)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/339/20, 27th August 2020) and despite our protests, Sodexo now intends to proceed with its reorganisation including 30 redundancies and has commenced consultation with those at risk. The Lead Officer will also be meeting with the Company to discuss this matter.

The National Executive Committee has considered this matter again and reiterated that RMT is opposed to Sodexo's proposed reorganisation and will resist all job cuts. Indeed RMT Policy is opposed to any redundancies or job cuts and we will use all political and industrial actions at our disposal to fight against these attacks.

There are also current vacancies for RMT Reps from the Sodexo workforce and I urge any member who is interested in becoming an RMT Rep to contact the South East Regional Office as soon as possible on 0207 529 8860 / 0207 529 8853 for further information.
