1600 Threatened Job Cuts At LUL

You may be aware that LUL management have now announced an additional 800 job cuts on London Underground making the total job cuts to planned to 1600. This shows just how much of a crisis Boris Johnson and LUL have plunged the network into. Ironically many of these new redundancies are the very managers who volunteered to work during the previous strikes. Well that’s gratitude for you!

We warned before that the first 800 job cuts were just the beginning and this announcement is no real surprise coming from a calculating management such as LUL. You can all be proud of the level of support that the industrial action has received but the dispute is not over. We must keep up the pressure on LUL to reverse these dangerous and unnecessary cuts and I urge you all to continue your magnificent efforts in defending jobs and staff and public safety.
