Joint trade union response of Pensions Working Group to 'call for evidence' document

Dear Colleagues,

TFL PENSION FUND - INDEPENDENT REVIEW

Further to my previous email, 8th September 2021, I can advise that following the publication of the First Stage of the Call for Evidence document in respect of the TfL Pension Fund review the staff side of the Pensions Working Group (PWG) were invited to respond to this consultation.

To remind you the PWG is made up of the recognised trade unions across LUL, and TfL management. The purpose of the PWG is to discuss matters in relation to the TfL Pension Fund.

As previously reported the staff side of the PWG, and our colleagues from the Pensions Consultative Committee (PCC), have been meeting regularly to discuss the review and how best we defend members pensions. Following publication of the Call for Evidence it was agreed that the staff side of the PWG would jointly respond to the consultation.

I am pleased to advise that the PWG has jointly responded to the Call for Evidence which can be viewed, along with the Call for Evidence document, by clicking on the following link https://bit.ly/3hJPonw

I will keep you advised of future developments.

Yours sincerely,

Michael Lynch
General Secretary
