RMT Organises Cleaners Strike Rally In Build Up To Co-ordinated Industrial Action

As a key element of the strategy to gain justice for all our cleaning members working in the transport industry, the Union has planned co-ordinated industrial action against the employers we are currently in dispute with over pay and conditions, to take place on 30 November/1 December.

I will be speaking at the rally as will John MacDonnell MP, leader of the RMT Parliamentary group, and representatives from other unions and bodies in the labour movement.

RAIL union RMT has congratulated its members for the way they dealt with the recent power outages across the rail network.
RMT members working at East Midlands Railway (EMR) will take further strike action tomorrow (Saturday August 8) after the company sent out yet another faulty train this week.
