New Work Shoes / boots 

The new Uniform issue shoes / boots have been manufactured using pig skin. If, for ANY reason you don’t wish to wear these, then you can purchase your own shoes. Keep the receipt and Admin will refund you up to the value of £50. Any new shoes / boots must comply with the following guidelines -  

•  Black leather
•  Deep tread on the soles (i.e. good grip)
• No metal toe cap or sole bar
• No trainers
•  ‘Magnum’ boots are ideal.

PAY DEAL / NIGHT TUBE

You should have your Ballot Papers by now, if not contact me ASAP. The RMT are recommending a YES vote for this. Please ensure you have voted and return your Ballot Paper before 1st March 2016.

NEXT BRANCH MEETING

The next Branch Meeting is Wednesday 24th February, 1600 in The Torch Pub, Wembley Park. Please come along to have YOUR say at YOUR Branch. 

DILIP 

On behalf of Wembley Park RMT, I would like to wish Dilip all the best on his upcoming Retirement. Dilip has spent many, many years on the job and as an RMT member, and will be missed around the Depot.

PENSIONS OPEN DAY

The Branch is planning a Pensions Open Day at Harrow On The Hill in March. This will give you advice and information on your Pension. If anyone is interested can they please contact me.

SPECTACLES

The Company reimburse up to £87.50 towards a second pair of spectacles. Contact myself or Admin for further details.

BRANCH BADGES

I have a limited amount of Branch Badges available. These are available on a first come, first served basis. There will be a new batch of lanyards available in the not too distant future.

MAY DAY PARADE 2016

As always, Wembley Park RMT will be present at the annual May Day Parade in Central London on Sunday May 1st. There will be a Social event afterwards in Central London. All members and their families are welcome.
