ROLE OF INSTRUCTOR OPERATORS - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/4/1)

Following a resolution received from the London Transport Regional Council, the National Executive Committee considered this matter and deplores the Company's attempts to cut Training jobs by offloading un-agreed aspects of the Trainers' role onto Instructor Operators.

There has been no discussion or agreement reached with RMT on this matter and I write to advise all Instructor Operator members not to enter into discussions with the Company regarding your role. I will be holding talks with the Company and I will keep Branches advised of all further developments.
