RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2020 - TFL (LUL/0001/TFL)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/339/20, 27th August 2020), the Lead Officer submitted a further report advising that TfL management intend to implement the pay offer which is based on performance pay and has been rejected by this union.

The NEC has reiterated its opposition to performance based pay and our demand for an across the board pay rise that is fully pensionable. We applaud our members' ongoing support for RMT's industrial action under which our members are refusing to take part in performance assessments.

In line with the NEC decision, I have written to TfL to make it clear that RMT has rejected this offer. RMT will continue to seek to build support amongst TfL staff for a campaign to end the inequity of performance based pay.

Yours sincerely,
