TO ALL LUL JUBILEE LINE TRAIN OPERATORS

RMT CALLS STRIKE ACTION ON JUBILEE LINE NIGHT TUBE

Dear Colleague

IMPOSITION OF NIGHT TUBE DUTIES, TRAIN OPERATORS LONDON UNDERGROUND

Following the Company's announcement to reintroduce Night Tube on the Jubilee Line later this month, your RMT Lead Officer has consulted your Reps and the National Executive Committee has taken the decision to call strike action against this service as our dispute remains unresolved.

All RMT Train Operators, Instructor Operators and Night Tube Train Operators at North Greenwich, Stratford and Wembley Park Traincrew Depots are instructed NOT TO BOOK ON for any shifts that commence between:-

·20:30 hours on Saturday 21st May to 04:29 hours on Sunday 22nd May 2022.

·20:30 hours on Friday 27th May to 04:29 hours on Saturday 28th May 2022.

·20:30 hours on Saturday 28th May to 04:29 hours on Sunday 29th May 2022.

·20:30 hours on Friday 3rd June to 04:29 hours on Saturday 4th June 2022.

·20:30 hours on Saturday 4th June to 04:29 hours on Sunday 5th June 2022.

·20:30 hours on Friday 10th June to 04:29 hours on Saturday 11th June 2022.

·20:30 hours on Saturday 11th June to 04:29 hours on Sunday 12th June 2022.

·20:30 hours on Friday 17th June to 04:29 hours on Saturday 18th June 2022.

·20:30 hours on Saturday 18th June to 04:29 hours on Sunday 19th June 2022.

You and your colleagues have already shown a steadfast determination to oppose the imposition of Night Tube duties and I urge you all to support the above action to continue this fight and show LUL management that you will not accept changes which would destroy your work life balance and lead to dangerous levels of fatigue.

RMT remains available for talks to resolve this dispute based on our 2016 agreement that no member would be forced to work Night Tube shifts and no member will work more weekends. So far LUL has shown only contempt and intransigence regarding this matter and as you are aware, your Union is also conducting a re-ballot to make sure the mandate for industrial action can continue past 19th June and for as long as necessary.

UNITY IS STRENGTH - SUPPORT THE STRIKE ACTION

Yours sincerely,

Michael Lynch
General Secretary
