Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2025 - London Underground

The second year of the pay deal is a 3.6% increase (based on the February 2026 RPI rate), effective from 1st April 2026. However, your Lead Officer was advised late on Tuesday, by LUL, that this increase is not expected to be paid to members until late July.

This outrageous lengthy delay of 4 months, from the known agreed pay rise figure (February RPI), is unacceptable. TfL will save millions by delaying these payments and I have written directly to TfL Commissioner Andy Lord, and the London Mayor, demanding that the pay rise is paid no later than the end of April.

I have also sought an assurance that it will be paid to all members entitled to receive it on 1st April 2026 and that no such delay will occur for the increase due in year three (2027) of our pay agreement.

I will of course keep you advised of all further developments.
