INTEGRATION OF FORMER TUBE LINES MACHINERY OF NEGOTIATION INTO LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/20/1)

London Underground have been seeking the integration of the former Tube Lines Machinery of Negotiation following the company's creation of the Asset Performance & Capital Delivery Directorate in April 2021. In November LUL gave notice of withdrawal from the Tube Lines General Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The following resolution was received from our Docklands Light Railway Branch:

“I raise a motion to oppose the policy of KAD to withhold contractual sick pay from staff who have to self-isolate due to contact with someone with Covid19 and have not been fully vaccinated.”

Night Tube dispute: RMT calls on mayor to act

As Night Tube action goes ahead again this evening RMT calls on Mayor to step in and resolve escalating disputes on London Underground

RMT to ballot 10,000 members as Tube bosses announce jobs cull plan

London Transport Union RMT to ballot all members for strike action from Monday as TfL announces first phase of mass job cuts.

LONDON TRANSPORT UNION RMT confirmed today that it will begin a ballot of over 10,000 members across all grades after TFL refused to give assurances on jobs, pensions and working conditions in the midst of an on-going financial crisis driven by central Government.

Ahead of more ACAS talks taking place today, RMT has called on London Underground managers to abandon their intransigent stance after another night of strike action over the Night Tube dispute.

Friday’s strike action, which the union described as rock solid, took place after London Underground managers rejected an offer from the union that would have allowed the action to be suspended.
