This article is an 'executive decision' which has been written by the RMT National Executive Committee. The National Executive is the union's governing body in between AGMs. Its decisions set out what the union will do on a particular issue.

Pic Line negotiators congratulated for achieving 'vast movement from company'

Subject: BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, PICCADILLY LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND
LUL/14/2

We congratulate our negotiations team and Lead Officer on achieving vast movement from the company in all four items of this dispute.

None of this would have been remotely possible without the crushing pressure of the strike mandate and proposed strike dates which our Train Operator Members in both Finsbury Park and Piccadilly & District West branches delivered.

We instruct the General Secretary to suspend the strike action from 21:00hrs on Wednesday 11th July to 01:00hrs on Saturday 14th July 2018, and instruct our Members to work normally.

We remain in dispute and instruct the Lead Officer to place a progress report back before this NEC within 28 days.

Members to be immediately advised by email and text.

Finsbury Park and Piccadilly & District West branches and the London Transport Regional Council to be advised
