Jubilee South And East London line Branch passed the following motion at their April meeting

Jubilee South & East London Line Branch believe that our negotiators should and mostly do reflect the general feeling amongst LTRC members and reps when negotiating on our unions behalf.

This branch agrees that we should not be working outside of our frameworks during the Olympic period. This remains our view whether it is voluntary or if we are forced to break agreements.

We understand that at recent negotiations the position was that it would be acceptable for RMT members to break agreements if it were their choice to do so.

That position is against this branches wishes.

We also feel that many members would be and are of the same opinion.

We submit this motion to document that the Jubilee South branch is against any offer being agreed for the Olympic period that includes our members breaking agreements.
