It's time to join the RMT Fines Pool. The Fines Pool, which is operated on a yearly basis, starts on 1st January and ends on 31st December every year. The cost of membership of the Fines Pool is one payment of £5.00 per year.

There are a number of ways to join. You can join by filling in a joining form and pay by cheque or cash to the Fines Pool collector, who is usually your branch secretary or hand it in or send it with a cheque made payable to the RMT Fines Pool to Unity House.

Now you have a further option - paying by Direct Debit. Direct Debit forms are available from your branch secretary or from Head Office. If you choose to pay by Direct Debit, one payment of £5.00 will be taken from your bank/building society account on Friday 15th January 2010. If you choose to pay by direct debit there is no need to renew your membership of the Fines Pool every year as payments will be automatically made each year unless you decide to stop being covered.

Paying by direct debit is a convenient way to maintain your Fines Pool membership. Whilst direct debits are a simple hassle free method of payment it is important that you check your bank/building society statements to ensure that your RMT subs are being debited from your account as membership, eligibility and benefits of the Fines Pool is conditional on being an RMT member.

You can join the Fines Pool at any time of the year but the cover always ends at the end of the year you join.
