End “Fire and Re-Hire” for Good

1 in 10 workers have experienced “fire and re-hire”, that is they have been told to re-apply for their jobs on worse pay, terms and conditions or face the sack and now unscrupulous employers are using the Covid-19 crisis as a cover for this despicable practice.

This week there is an opportunity to end this scandalous practice for good as on Friday 22 October 2020 Labour Party MP Barry Gardiner's bill to ban fire and rehire is in parliament and we need all RMT members to send a message to your MPs asking them to turn up and support the bill.

It is particularly important that constituents of every Tory MP ask them which way they will vote on this Bill and then share their responses.
