Bro Codd strike ballot successful: strike dates to follow

Subject: DISMISSAL, A. CODD, TRACK ACCESS CONTROL – LONDON UNDERGROUND

We congratulate our Track Access members for their resolve to take strike action due to the victimisation of Bro Codd; the ballot results are as follows:

The result for strike action is:-

Number of members balloted: 28

Total votes cast 18 (64.3%)

Number voting “Yes” 14 (50%)

Number voting “No” 4

Spoilt Papers 0

The 40% and 50% thresholds were both met.

The result for action short of strike is:-

Number of members balloted: 28

Total votes cast 18 (64.3%)

Number voting “Yes” 10 (35.7%)

Number voting “No” 6

Spoilt Papers 2

The 40% turnout thresholds was not met.

We note that the members will be consulted on the timing of the strike action; so place the matter in our Southern Sub Committee until this consultation is carried out.
