Would any Branch Member be willing to take up the position of Cleaning Co-Ordinator? This person would be central to any issues involving any of the cleaners who are members of our branch, and would be expected to represent the cleaning grades at our Branch Meetings.

It's vital that the branch membership details are up to date for potential strike action and also for branch funding. Just a reminder that this weeks Neasden branch meeting will be on Thursday 3rd November at 16:00hrs instead of Wednesday 2nd November due to a football event at Wembley Stadium.

Station staff members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers Unions (RMT) will be balloted for strike action and action short of strike action in an on-going battle over job numbers, the critical safety role of control rooms, forced displacement of staff, grading and a crisis resulting from London Undergrounds closure of ticket offices
Due to Tottenham Hotspur playing their Champions League games at Wembley Stadium the following Neasden branch meetings have been rescheduled.
The November Branch meeting which was scheduled for Wednesday 2nd will now take place on Thursday 3rd.
The December (Christmas) Branch Meeting which was scheduled for Wednesday 7th will now take place on Friday 9th.
These meetings will take place at the usual venue - The Torch Pub in Wembley Park.

The Metropolitan Line currently run a craft club at Harrow on the Hill. You don't need to work on the Metropolitan Line or necessarily have any craft skills to join. Anybody is welcome. The next meeting takes place on Wednesday 11th May in the meeting room at Harrow on the Hill between 12:00hrs and 15:30hrs. If you have any needles, crochet needles or yarn that you would like to bring along this would be extremely helpful, and any unwanted items which people would like to donate will be grately received.
Do you or anyone you know wish to become a Union Learning Rep? Neasden Branch currently has a vacancy for Union Learning Rep (Metropolitan South). If you're unsure what being a ULR entails, please read the attached document. This position is open to all grades. Nominations will be accepted at the next branch meeting on Wednesday 18th May.
Please note that any Reps who have been affected by a move under the 'Fit for the Future' will be expected to fulfill their current role until the end of this term even if they have moved locations. A 're-shuffle' of Reps (where required) will take place at the annual Rep's Elections at the end of the year.
