RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 - CUBIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (LUL/LCHS) (LUL/0001/CTS)
In line with Union policy, a claim was submitted for a substantial increase in rates of pay and improvements to conditions of service. Following talks, the Company tabled a full and final offer of 4%, backdated to 1st April 2023 for protected members on the Cubic contract covering LUL and Serco Cycle Hire (TfL).

In line with union policy, a pay claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions was submitted to the company. The Regional Organiser has met with them and the following offer has been tabled:-
A 3.3% increase, backdated to 1st April 2018

RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2017 – CUBIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS
The NEC has considered a report from the lead officer outlining a 2.75% no-strings pay offer for our members working for Cubic Transportation. Having considered the views of our affected members via their reps this proposal has now been accepted by the NEC. I have informed the company of our acceptance of their proposals.

That we note the report from our Lead Officer.
We now note that the meeting has taken place of our affected members, and that it has been agreed we should now accept the latest offer from the company.
Accordingly, we instruct the General Secretary to advise the company of our acceptance.
London Transport Region and relevant Branches to be advised.
We note the correspondence from Cubic, advising that its Christmas and New Year arrangements are the same as in previous years.

We note the report from our Regional Organiser, and having also consulted with our branch, we instruct the General Secretary to advise the company of our acceptance of the company’s final offer before the deadline for payment in time for Christmas.
We further instruct the General Secretary to ensure that a pay claim is submitted in line with union policy for 2013, and to obtain a plan for improving organisation of this workforce from our LU Engineering branch.

The above matter has been considered again by the General Grades Committee and has taken the following decision:-
“We note the report from our Regional Organiser. Accordingly, we instruct the General Secretary to write to Cubic seeking a further meeting, and to place any developments in front of us. London Transport Regional Council and LU Engineering branch to be advised.”
