RMT demands paper payslips be provided to workers who require them

Subject: INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRONIC PAYSLIPS - LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note the resolution from the London Transport Regional Council regarding the company’s withdrawal of paper wage slips as part of their moving over to electronic payslips.

It is unacceptable to withdraw paper payslips from staff members who have no electronic means of accessing pay advise; or who are not computer literate/able for whatever reason.

We instruct the General Secretary in-line with the resolution to:

Write to London Underground demand they provide paper payslips to those who require them

Provide guidance and assistance to members regarding the legal obligation for the company to payslips

Demand the company put provide pay advice to all members not just those on the LU Intranet

Arrange an emergency meeting with company

Members to be advised by email & text.

All London Underground Branches and the London Transport Regional Council to be advised.
