Demonstrate on 26 February: clean up outsourcing!

RMT London Transport Regional Council is uniting with three other unions organising outsourced workers for a day of direct action against outsourcing.

Along with the Independent Workers’ union of Great Britain (IWGB), the United Voices of the World (UVW), and the Public and Commercial Services union (PCS) branch at the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), RMT members will demonstrate on Tuesday 26 February to demand rights for outsourced workers, including direct employment.

The company has not only failed to consult the union properly; but have breached the Main Agreement which no union worth its salt would tolerate.

That we note the resolution from Piccadilly & District West Branch regarding the dismissal by the company of Bro Harvinder for allegedly not carrying out procedure
around ticket office accounting, when he has never been trained in the procedure as no training exists for CSA2s.
