Pretty poor after all these years of 'equality', huh?

And set to get worse with London Underground's job cuts. Why? Because the company is cutting jobs in those grades with a higher proportion of women staff - most jobs going are SAMF, then CSA. This will reduce the overall figure, or at least slow down improvements in the proportion of women.

Apparently, London Underground at one time set itself targets to increase the proportion of women staff, but abandoned them a few years ago - suggesting a lack of commitment to achieving them!
