What is a National Executive Committee decision?

This article is an 'executive decision' which has been written by the RMT National Executive Committee. The National Executive is the union's governing body in between AGMs. Its decisions set out what the union will do on a particular issue.

REPORT: USE OF CCTV IN DISCIPLINARIES

Referring to Decision No, NWW, 26th July 2017, your National Sub-committee submits the following report:     

“We note the resolution from the 2017 AGM on the use of CCTV in disciplinaries, and instruct the General Secretary to conduct a review of our current advice as it is now several years old.

This review should be conducted taking into account new case law, governmental guidance and any notable cases that have arisen during the intervening period.

When this review has taken place a report is to be put before this NEC.
