Tube Pay Dispute - Ballot Papers Are Out Today

BALLOT PAPERS OUT TODAY - VOTE 'YES' TO STRIKE OVER PAY

The Union has now advised London Underground that a dispute exists over its failure to table an acceptable pay offer, backdated to your anniversary date in April 2023. Your ballot papers will be posted out today so please look out for them arriving this week and make sure to return your ballot paper as soon as possible. The closing date for the ballot is Tuesday 19th December 2023.

Your RMT negotiating team has been in talks for many months, including at ACAS, seeking an offer from LUL which would be acceptable and avoid a dispute. However, it is now very clear that a strong mandate for industrial action from you and your colleagues is needed to show the LUL you are prepared to fight for a fair and decent increase to your rates of pay.

You may receive a text message from one of your RMT Reps reminding you to vote. Please respond to the text and they will not need to remind you again.

If you do not receive your voting paper by Tuesday 28th November or know of a colleague who has not received it, please call the freephone helpline on 0800 376 3706, RMT Head Office on 0207 387 4771 or e-mail info@rmt.org.uk to request a replacement.

PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR YOUR BALLOT PAPER

MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR VOTE!

Yours sincerely,

Michael Lynch
General Secretary
