CALCULATION OF HOLIDAY PAY

TRANSPORT FOR LONDON / LONDON UNDERGROUND

Recent discussions have taken place and an offer of agreement was received from TfL and LUL for the payment of overtime and other regular payments in holiday pay.

The National Executive Committee has taken the decision to accept the arrangement for holiday pay and I have advised the Company accordingly. A copy of the agreement is available to view here for TfL and LUL. [attached]

However, we cannot accept the Company's position that staff who worked for the Company during the 27 months that the backdated agreement covers will not be entitled to this payment.  Therefore, any member planning on retiring before this payment is paid is advised to complete an application for legal assistance from RMT.
