Dear Members,
As we go in to the festive period and the turn of the year, I am writing to thank you for your continued membership of our Union and your on-going support for each other and our organisation.
To our dedicated Representatives, branch & regional officials, and activists - I pay tribute to your sheer hard work on behalf of the members, which keeps this union going every day of the year.
This has been another challenging year, but we have come through it as a strong and united force that has a high profile and carries influence and power in our industries and society, way beyond our numbers.
I believe 2024 will be tough too but at least we have the prospect of a change of government which cannot come soon enough.
So, let's go in to 2024 ready to meet any challenges and dedicated again to the campaigns ahead.
I hope that you are all able to have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with friends and family.
If you are working during the period keep safe, and I hope that you do get some downtime to enjoy the festivities.
