Bakerloo Branch Annual General Meeting
Monday the 2nd of December.
The AGM will take place at the Red Lion, Kingly Street, London, W1B 5PR (nearest tube Oxford Circus) starting at 1600 and will immediately be followed by a social with our General Secretary Bob Crow due to attend.
Noam is a 19 year old woman from Jerusalem who was jailed last year for refusing to serve on the Israeli Defence Force as part of compulsory national service.
She says:

The Conference opens with a Reception event for delegates on Thursday 20th February; all delegates are invited to attend. ABUSED
RAIL UNION RMT will be backing the European Transport Workers Federation (ETF) and Action for Rail day of action against EU rail privatisation with protests outside European Commission Offices in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh this Wednesday October 9.
The European Union’s so called “Fourth Rail Package” aims to enforce the fragmentation and privatisation of domestic rail services across the continent, including the compulsory competitive tendering of rail passenger services and separation of infrastructure and operations.
These resolutions were passed at the Regional Council meeting held in September 2013.
Oyster Cards Resolution
This branch is appalled at the error that removes money from people's wave and pay accounts instead of their oyster. We believe TfL should publicise this matter and repay any monies collected by mistake. We call on our Union to contact TfL and demand these actions are done
Eastern European Migrant Workers
The RMT will hold a demonstration opposing the closure of Whitechapel ticket office on Saturday 19th October between 09.30am and 10.30am, outside Whitechapel station.

Congress deplores the fact that being gay is illegal in 76 countries, and in 10 of these it is punishable by death or imprisonment. It is also well known that LGBT people in many more regions around the world are victims of violence, such as targeted killings, violent assaults and torture.
Congress therefore looks to the TUC to help the campaign to end discrimination against LGBT people around the world as a human rights principle generally and also to be able to respond swiftly to international events, prioritising case-by-case incidents.
