Every Job Matters Meeting

Please make every effort to attend the “Every Job Matters” meeting that the RMT General Secretary Bob Crow has arranged.

The meeting begins at 18.00 on Tuesday 18TH February 2014, at the Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, WC1R 4RL.

WEA Course: International Women's Day

Celebrate ‘A History of Action by Women Workers.’ International Women’s Day was born out of the struggle of women in the New York City garment industry at the turn of the century and in Russia in February 1917 where their protests turned revolutionary.

The course will outline these developments at the beginning of the 20th century and consider their relevance today.

ASLEF Branch Motions Supports RMT Activist Mark Harding

ASLEF Longsight Branch have called on their union to support RMT activist Mark harding who was arrested on a picket line during our 'Every Job Matters' industrial action. The motion passed by Longsight branch was backed unanimously.

Defend Mark Harding Meeting

A meeting is being held to organise the 'Defend Mark Harding campaign. Mark was arrested off of a picket line and held in a cell for 13 hours, before receiving draconian bail conditions following an allegation from an apparent strike breaker.

The meeting will be for RMT members only but we welcome all support for the campaign.

The minutes from the previous JWP were accepted by all parties.
Unite & ASLEF asked that RMT give the first opening statement.
