Put it in your diary and get your rest days organised, the Bakerloo Branch AGM and social is on Monday 5th of December upstairs in the Red Lion at 16:00 hours. The Red Lion is on Kingly Street near Oxford Circus tube station.

The AGM will elect all branch officers and reps. RMT General Secretary, Bob Crow is our guest speaker.

CSA’s Paul McCulloch and Neil Turley were stood down from duty following allegations made against them in a public house on the 12th of November 2010.
The alleged incident occurred outside work, not on work premises and neither members were in uniform. No outside authority was called to deal with any issue.

Both are active members of the union and were heavily involved in the RMT’s ‘lone working’ strikes and later in organising station staff refusing to work on gate-lines as LU were not complying with safety procedures on the Wembley Central Group.

Mass Meeting-1730-1930

From 1930 til late, there will be a Regional Social to celebrate RMT's victory in the Victimisation disputes within our Region. There will be a Buffet & Music and a chance for activists & members to get together and have some fun.

London Transport Regional Council will be holding a Mass meeting for all members in our region to discuss and report on the 2011 Pay claims & 2012 Olympics Reward claim for all companies in the London Transport Region.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, 15th September,1730 at:

Young Members’ Conference 2011

Tube Lines are responsible for the Emergency Response Unit that covers the entire network and is fundamental to the safe running of London Underground. To ensure your own safety and that of others during the period of industrial action you are advised to approach your management prior to carrying out your duties for assurances that a safe system of work is in place.

The next Jubilee South and East London Line branch meeting will be held on the 30th December at The Blue Eyed Maid at 1600.

Piccadilly and District line west Christmas Social

Thursday 17th December, in the private function room at O’Neill’s pub, Earls Court.

From 18:00hrs (straight after the AGM) All London Transport region staff and their families are welcome – you don’t need to be a member of RMT or Piccadilly and District west branch. Please join us for: Hot & cold buffet And a light refreshment to boot!

The Bakerloo AGM is on Thursday December 3rd at 16:00 hours. Elections will take place for all officers and reps. Speakers include Bob Crow and Janine Booth

Following the AGM there will be a social with a limited free bar.
