Enormous RMT Success On Jubilee Line

Following the de-recognition of trains side rep Jason Moriarty the RMT has once again had fantastic success. Before the de recognition there was only one RMT train rep position for the east end of the Jubilee line, now there is TWO!

We now have

  • 1 Rep position at North Greenwich AND 1 Rep position at Stratford
  • 1 rep + 1 rep = 2 reps

There is an increase of RMT Train IR rep numbers from 33 to 34.

This fantastic victory was made possible by the hard work of our outstanding RMT Trains functional reps and by the London Transport Regions enormous show of support at the last Regional council meeting where it was unanimously decided to support the fight against the Jubilee rep derecognition travesty and of course the determination of all in the Jubilee South branch to fight this injustice.

Confirmation from LUL has been received that Jason Moriarty is now recognized as an RMT Rep by London Underground and that we now have the new rep position.

What was initially an attack on the RMT has only served to make us stronger and left egg on the face of those who seek to harm our union and our right to choose who we elect as our workplace reps.

RMT JUBILEE SOUTH BRANCH, NEVER ON OUR KNEES
