Drop in session to discuss Workplace Harassment and Bullying

LU Engineering branch have organised a drop in session to discuss workplace harassment and bullying.
All RMT members are welcome, please circulate flyer to friends you feel would benefit from the session, but do not display on workplace noticeboards, for fear of management repercussions.

The event will be held upstairs at the Exmouth Arms, Starcross Street, London NW1 (near Euston station)

The event will run on Wednesday April 17th, from 12pm til 6pm, please drop in any time you can.

The 30th of November saw the start of a 48hour national cleaners strike, involving 10 Railway cleaning companies all fighting for a host of demands with dignity at the very top of the list.

We all know that cleaners play a key role in the running of the railway, without them stations would close, trains would be cancelled, and staff as well as the public would not be able to get in.

As you may be aware, RMT members working for both Initial and ISS on London Underground have recently been balloted for strike action and industrial action short of a strike. This dispute is over the fact that these members who provide a vital service on London Underground are constantly exploited by these Companies

Cleaners Protest At Stratford Station

RMT cleaners will be holding a protest joined by General Secretary Bob Crow outside of Stratford Station at midday on the day of the Olympic Opening Ceremony - 27th July.

Cleaners will be protesting for a London Living wage and Olympic Bonus. These are the workers who will be clearing up after up to a million extra passengers have travelled each day on London's public transport during the Olympic period.
