Blog: BEM YM Cleaners 48h National Strike 30/11-1/12/2012
Submitted by jayeshjpatel on 14 December, 2012 - 01:13The 30th of November saw the start of a 48hour national cleaners strike, involving 10 Railway cleaning companies all fighting for a host of demands with dignity at the very top of the list.
We all know that cleaners play a key role in the running of the railway, without them stations would close, trains would be cancelled, and staff as well as the public would not be able to get in.
