Regional Council Nominations 2009

NOMINATIONS FOR REGIONAL COUNCIL OFFICERS AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2009

The AGM of the Regional Council is on 26th February 2008 and it is therefore time to remind Branches to consider nominations for Regional Council Officers and Executive Committee.

The deadline for nominations is first post Tuesday 10th February 2009. Nominations received by this date will be circulated with the Regional Council mailing.

In the event of insufficient nominations being received by this date, written nominations on branch notepaper will be accepted up to and including on the night of the AGM. Any further vacancies will be filled by nominations from the floor of the AGM.

The positions to be filled are:

  • Assistant Secretary
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Membership Secretary
  • Financial Secretary
  • 2 trustees
  • 2 auditors
  • Political Officer
  • Black and Ethnic Members' Officer
  • Women's Officer
  • LGBT Members' Officer
  • Young Members' Officer
  • 16 Executive Committee members
