Every Job Matters Dispute Second Strike This Week

Following consultation with reps and activists in order to maximise unity and the effect of our strike action the GGC agrees to adjust the strike action in our industrial campaign to defend jobs on London Underground.

We instruct all grades not to book on for duties starting from 21:00 hours on Tuesday 4th of February 2014 until 20:59 on Thursday 6th of February. Further not to book on for duties starting from 21:00 hours on Tuesday 11th of February 2014 until 20:59 on Thursday 13th of February.

We reaffirm the instruction for our members in the stations grades, revenue and DSM’s in the action short of strike action not to carry out any revenue duties on the dates and times previously specified.

We further instruct our RCI and DSM members with effect from 00:01 hours on 31st of January 2014 until further notice not to work any rest days or overtime until further notice.

We also instruct the General Secretary to write personal letters to all members on a grade specific basis on our industrial campaign.

Our members to be informed of this decision by text, email/RMT mail.

Branches and Regional Councils to be advised.
