Industrial Relations: London Underground

RMT General Grades Committee decision:

We note the correspondence from London Underground inviting us to discuss Professor Goodman’s report on Industrial Relations. We further note that we are currently seeking views and comments from our Regional Organiser, branches and representatives about this report.

We are of course willing to discuss improving industrial relations on London Underground, and will consider London Underground’s invitation once we have received and discussed the responses we have sought.

We therefore instruct the General Secretary to write again to our branches, representatives and Regional Organiser requesting a prompt response on this issue, and to place this issue back in front of us once responses have been received or by 22 February, whichever is the sooner. We further instruct the General Secretary to advise London Underground of our intentions.

London Transport Regional Council to be advised.
