TUC Demonstration Saturday 20 October: March For A Future That Works

From RMT General Secretary Bob Crow

There is now one month to go until the demonstrations in London, Glasgow and Belfast opposing the cuts in the name of austerity being proposed by the coalition government.

It is important that we get a good turnout of RMT members on the day, to send a message to the government that working people should not pay for the bankers’ crisis.

Please find attached a PDF of a leaflet that we have produced to explain the impact of government austerity measures on London Underground workers. Feel free to circulate the PDF by email as widely as you can.

For local transport arrangements for 20 October please contact your local branch or regional office.

I hope you can join with fellow RMT members on one of the demonstrations on the day along with your family and friends.
