I enclose for your attention the invitation to the 2013 National Conference of Signalling and Operations Grades that will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February 2013 in the Prince Consort hall at the Winter Gardens, Royal Parade, Weston-super-Mare.

Items for the agenda, including resolutions, invitations for future conference venue,
nominations for officers, executive committee seats and auditors must reach the Conference
Secretary by 30th October 2012.

Please make every effort to ensure your Branch sends a delegate(s).

National Union of Rail, Maritime & Transport Workers National Conference of Signalling and Operations Grades

The 80th National Conference of Signalling and Operations Grades will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February 2013 in the Prince Consort Hall at the Winter Gardens, Royal Parade at Weston-Super-Mare.

The conference will commence prompt at 14.00 hrs on Saturday and reconvene at 10.00 hrs on Sunday. Delegates are requested to be in their seats 15 minutes before the start of conference for a prompt start.

Items for the agenda, include invitations for conference venue, nominations for officers, executive committee seats and auditors must reach me by 30th October 2012. Executive committee seats are based on the AGM representation (see attached document for table).

As a Signalling and Operations Grades Conference we are only allowed to deal with matters domestic to the grades Signallers, Crossing Keepers RT1-RT10 (includes MOM and SSM grades) employed by Network Rail, BRB or the equivalent LUL grade.

Bristol Branch has made the social arrangements which will be a Friday Evening Social including buffet and entertainment at 19.30 hrs at the York Hotel, Weston- Super-Mare (1-3 St Margarets Terrace). Price per person will be £9.00 per person

A Civic Reception is TBC on the Saturday.

On Sunday evening there will be a three course meal, presentation evening at the Winter Gardens with a live band at 19.00hrs for a 1930hrs start. The price per person will be £19.50.
