IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION FOR JUBILEE LINE DRIVERS
Dear Colleagues,
We need to advise you that Jubilee Line train maintainers at Stratford Market Depot, Neasden and Stanmore will be taking industrial action for 24 hours from 19.29 hours on Wednesday 24th January. This will be repeated the following Sunday to Monday, and every Sunday/Monday for three months.
Their dispute is due to the fact that their Northern Line counterparts get paid considerably more money for doing the exact same job.
This dispute could have serious implications for the safety of the trains that will be offered for service during and following the industrial action.

Submitted by admin on Mon, 02/11/2009 - 14:21This resolution, submitted by Neasden branch and seconded by Hammersmith & City branch, was passed unanimously at the November 2009 meeting of the Regional Council.
This Branch condemns the callous attitude shown by Management, particularly HR, towards apprentices and ex-apprentices and other groups of members in Service Control. The Management aim is to redeploy these members despite being promised jobs in Service Control.

Resolution: Young Members Organisation Material
Submitted by admin on Wed, 02/09/2009 - 10:49This resolution, submitted by Neasden branch and seconded by Bakerloo branch, was carried unanimously at the September meeting of the Regional Council.
This Branch recognises the importance of Young Members in our union.
We also note that the existing Young Members Banner fails to represent Youth, apart from the words “Young Member” and fails to represent all grades and the diversity of our union.
We request that the Young Members Committee design and produce the following organising items and that the funds for these are to be made available via Unity House.
