Skills Development Update

At the last consultation meeting your reps had with London Underground (20/03/18), we raised a few issues, including the action tracker being incomplete, staff we believe to be in the wrong pools and the company’s lack of communication with our members or your reps.

Senior Manager Admin Update

Your Transformation reps were due to meet with London Underground today (27/03/18) for the latest consultation for Senior Management Admin. The last meeting with the company was on 2nd March and the company cancelled the subsequent meeting. We were very keen to meet them today, but unfortunately, yesterday evening, they cancelled the meeting.

LU Transformation Update

On 22nd March 2018, your Regional Organiser, along with your RMT reps and reps from other unions, met with London Underground at Director Level to discuss a number of outstanding Transformation issues. These issues included the use of Fixed Term Contract Staff, the way the company is dealing with people on maternity and parental leave, and the way they are filling vacancies that have arisen through Transformation.

Stations Admin Transformation Update

Your reps have had a response from London Underground on the counter-proposal we submitted on your behalf. Senior Manager Admin Transformation Update

Your MATS reps met with London Underground last week for the latest consultation meeting. There has been some progress in this work stream. The company have put in extra ADCO jobs, meaning that all ADCOs will now be mapped and there will be vacancies at that grade.

The company are also going to open Voluntary Severance for Support Managers.

Asset Operations Transformation Update

Your MATS reps met with London Underground last week for the latest consultation meeting. Again the company deviated from the agenda proposed by your reps and we made little progress. It was a three hour meeting, with the first two hours spent talking about the proposed TUPE of 3 Bombardier staff into London Underground. LU are bringing these people into the company and including one of them ‘in scope’ for Transformation. We do not agree with this and believe that existing staff should not be put at risk by somebody new coming into the company.

LU Transformation Update

The RMT have written to London Underground to request a meeting with Jean Cockerill, LU Transformation reps and Regional Organisers. There are still a number of principled, cross-stream issues that we feel the company has failed to properly address.

Station Admin Update

Your RMT reps, along with reps from the other Unions, met with Stations Admin staff on 30/01/18 to discuss the counter proposal which was submitted. This was a very useful meeting, filled with lots of passion and lots of valuable feedback.
