RMT is holding a mass leaflet of the public on Wednesday morning outside Euston Station and we’d be grateful for your assistance. Wednesday is the day that the LUL ballot result will be announced.
Four weeks ago an escalator fire at Euston was identified by station staff - who might not have been present if the cuts had taken place. For details, click here.
The next Morden & Oval branch meeting will take place on Wednesday 11th August from 5.30pm at The Wheatsheaf public house, 2, Upper Tooting Road, SW17 7PG.

The next Stratford no.1 branch meeting will take place on Thursday 12th August from 5pm at the Leytonstone & District ex-Servicemens Club, Harvey Road, Leytonstone, E11 3BD.
It is approximately a two minute walk from Leytonstone underground station.
The Transport Salaried Staffs' Association and RMT are to hold a joint meeting on the 24th August 2010 at 6pm to discuss the action against job cuts on London Underground. The venue is Friends Meeting House, Euston Road, (opposite Euston Station) in the Small Meeting Room.
RMT and TSSA are both balloting members for strike action over the cuts of up to 800 jobs.

A Joint RMT-TSSA Strike Committee meeting has been arranged for Monday 30th August at 1600 in the function room at the Twelve Pins Public House,Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park.
We will be organising picketing and discussing ideas for escalating industrial action short of a strike and work to rules.
From 1730 onwards the meeting will be open to any public support groups who may want to assist us during the dispute.
The next Stations & Revenue Grades Committee Meeting meets at 3pm on Wednesday 1st of September 2010 @ the Exmouth Arms, Starcross Street, nearest station Euston Square.

Due to strike action we will hold the Branch AGM on the 2nd of December 2010 at 1700hrs at the Exmouth Arms (a flyer is enclosed).
