Come and join the May Day march on Saturday 1st May 2010. The march to Trafalgar Square will start at 12 noon from Clerkenwell Green.
A book re-launch of "May Day" a novel by John Somerfield, will take place at 11am at the Marx Memorial Library in Clerkenwell.
Sisters and Brothers the Staff Our Stations campaign will soon be at a station near YOU, and at 16:30 hrs on Wednesday 5th of May it will also be at WOODFORD STATION.
Those of you who attend are asked to take some photographs and send them to g.bowtell@gmail.com or Janine or to add them to the facebooks Staff Our Stations group wall.

The purpose of this event is to raise public awareness of the effect that frontline staff cuts will have on them, and to collect signatures for the SOS petition.
Stations and Revenue Grades Meetings Monthly meetings that bring together rank-and-file station and revenue RMT reps and activists. All members are welcome to come along and raise issues that concern you and plan with others how we are going to fight for a better deal for our grades.
Come along and bring your experience and ideas with you!

The next Hammersmith & City branch meeting will take place on Wednesday 5th May from 5pm at the Exmouth Arms, 1, Starcross Street, Euston, NW1 2HR. The nearest tube stations are Euston and Euston Square.
on Thursday 6th of May @ 1400hrs the S. O. S. campaign will leaflet the public at Elephant & Castle station.
RMT will be appearing outside various stations over the coming weeks, giving out leaflets and collecting signatures. Keep checking back to this website for dates and details - and join us if you can!
The next Central Line West branch meeting will take place on Thursday 6th May 2010 from 4pm - 6pm at The Redan, 1, Westbourne Grove, London, W2 4UA. The nearest tube stations are Bayswater and Queensway.
The next Stratford no.1 branch meeting will take place on Thursday 13th May 2010 from 5pm -7pm at the Leytonstone & District ex-Servicemen's Club, Harvey Road, Leytonstone, E11 3DB. It is approximately a two minute walk from Leytonstone Underground station.
I'm pleased to be able to announce the dates for next years Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Conference
It will be held in Belfast on the following dates below. The Social event will be held on the Thursday 13th May 2010 and the conference will start at 0900 on Friday 14th February 2010 at the Holiday Inn Hotel
Futher information will be published through Branch Circulars in due course.
We hope by advertising the conference early, we will be able to have the biggest ever delegation to this crucial conference.
The next Morden & Oval branch meeting will take place on Wednesday 19th May 2010 from 5.30pm at the Wheatsheaf public house, 2, Upper Tooting Road, London, SW17. It is situated next to Tooting Bec tube station.
On Sunday 23rd May the extended East London Line will re-open, as part of private company, LOROL (London Overground). Obviously we support the extension but not when part of the tube network has been privatised through the back door. The whole of LOROL should be integrated with London Underground and owned and run by the Greater London Authority, elected by Londoners, which is RMT policy.
