In association with the Cuba Solidarity Campaign I am writing to invite you and your colleagues to the seventh RMT annual garden party for Cuba which will take place on Wednesday 24th June 2009 at Maritime House, Clapham, London, commencing at 7pm.

This year tickets are £15 each, including a free bar, buffet and music. We will also once again be joined by a number of distinguished guest speakers.

As well as supporting a good cause the RMT Cuba night provides a wonderful opportunity to socialise with friends from all over the Labour and Trade Union movement

East Ham branch is holding a recruitment and retention day, where it is hoped enough people turn up to cover all stations, depots and signal boxes in the branch's area.

We are meeting at the Barking Dog PH (outside Barking Station, turn left) for coffee at 10am, to group and then set off in pairs! to visit areas to talk to staff out and about.

London Underground has agreed to release all level one reps from work on Monday to attend this important meeting. You will hear reports from negotiators and discuss what you think of the company's latest position on the three issues in our dispute: jobs, pay and justice.
