Stations Health and Safety News, March 2020

In response to the companies statement from TfL’s Head of Occupational Health that stated “where people need to work closely to each other (within two meters) they can continue” we implore you to not take unnecessary risks.

Please do not interpret this in such a way that leads you to think this is ‘business as usual’. It is NOT ‘business as usual’ and there are multiple ways to change how we do things SAFELY without putting each other at risk.

Bakerloo Line Management have today dismissed Ezra over an incident which should have been dealt with by a corrective action plan. 

The RMT Bakerloo Line  branch will support Ezra in every way possible.

Bakerloo News: Fight for free trade unions!

The Tory government elected on 12 December has announced plans to ban all-out strikes in the transport industry. They plan to introduce new laws that would impose a “minimum service
requirement” during transport strikes. Although the detail of how this would work has yet to be drawn up, in other countries where such laws exist, they usually mean that unions and employers agree between them that a certain number of workers will work through a strike to guarantee the minimum service level is met.

RMT Upfront: Tube Drivers' News Pay Special

RMT Upfront is the newsletter for tube drivers from the RMT. In this special edition we look at what the company has offered for drivers in their so called 'full and final' pay and conditions offer, and why the RMT has come to the decision that a ballot for industrial action is now required to enable us to push for a better, fairer offer.
