RMT to discuss 'Fit for the Future' and possible industrial action

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS – FARRINGDON, BARBICAN, MOORGATE, LIVERPOOL STREET & ALDGATE STATIONS – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

The following resolution has recently been received from our Hammersmith & City Branch:-

“This Branch calls for a ballot of its stations membership on the following stations; Farringdon, Barbican, Moorgate, Liverpool Street and Aldgate for strike action and action short of strike action. This is due to the breakdown in industrial relations, abuse of agreement and specifically, treatment of staff involved in assaults”.

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has taken the decision to organise a meeting of Station Reps on London Underground to review the implementation of Fit for the Future – Stations and to discuss our strategy, including possible industrial action. I am currently acting in accordance with this decision and will keep you advised of all further developments.
