What is a National Executive Committee decision?

This article is an 'executive decision' which has been written by the RMT National Executive Committee. The National Executive is the union's governing body in between AGMs. Its decisions set out what the union will do on a particular issue.

DOO Dispute GTR Southern Rail/Scot Rail

Continuing disputes in both these areas due to vicious management. Our Region offers its full support to comrades in these areas, and we will give all physical and financial assistance as required.

 

Broadsheet

A four-page broadsheet reporting on developments across London Transport has been written and will be distributed through RMT News, through branches and by the reps. Distribution of the broadsheet and talking with members and will be used to gauged to assess feeling for further industrial action.

 

Disciplinary Spad Procedure Tube Lines AP JNP

A ballot with 66.6% turn out plus a 93% YES vote has taken place and it appears now that disciplinary action against has now been lifted!

 

Trains

Night Tube Central Line and Victoria Line have after negotiations and threats of ballots have had their roster issues amended; but we will remain vigilant.

Piccadilly Line ongoing dispute

Hammersmith & City Line members are being balloted over a breakdown in industrial relations.

Lillie Bridge Depot Demolition

After advising LUL that we were moving into a dispute and beginning a ballot of all members across all companies working in the Depot; LUL have fully set out their plans for a full local alternative depot with fail safe guarantees.

Tube Lines Pay and Pension

We have taken action on LUL meetings and negotiations continue.

Meeting with the London Mayor

We have raised a review of FFFS, Pay and along with conditions of our Cleaning grade members as items of ongoing discussion.
