Following this result, the National Executive Committee noted hasthe views from a meeting of your RMT Reps last week and took the decision to call on Train Operator & Instructor Operator members at Hammersmith Traincrew Depot and Edgware Road Traincrew Depot not to book on for any shifts that commence between:-

  • 20:00 hours on Saturday 24th December 2016 and 19:59 hours on Sunday 25th December 2016. (Hammersmith Traincrew Depot & Edgware Road Traincrew Depot ONLY.)

Further, all members on the Hammersmith & City Line (Barking (H&C) Traincrew Depot; Edgware Road Traincrew Depot; Hammersmith Traincrew Depot) are instructed not to work areas where they are not trained with or without a pilot-man from 20:00 hours on Sunday 25th December 2016 until further notice.

I urge our members to stand firm together to demand that management urgently reach an agreement with your Union over Christmas and New Year Working Arrangements. The current proposals include cross line working and booking on and picking up at South Kensington. It is unacceptable that rosters, which have already been rejected, are still being pushed by London Underground management.

I will keep Branches informed of developments.
